Welcome to Brett Berg's funky rockin' tie website. 'Mangl'd' was founded in the Summer of 2003 and is growing from strength as it continues to find its unique worldwide Rock 'N' Roll fashion market.

Founded as a way to initially fund Brett's filmmaking career, he soon discovered his idea was filling a niche in the fashion market of New York City and way beyond. Each 'Mangl'd' tie is a vintage, one-of-a-kind, hand selected tie. Brett prizes his ability to match specific Rock 'N' Roll images to specific ties. With his brother Rod's support and graphic design background 'Mangl'd' was born.

Brett was born in '73 in London, in a time and place where influential music scene was emerging. He moved to New York City in his early twenties to pursue his acting career. Filmmaking, directing and writing soon became part od Brett's life as he settled in the ever vibrant 'East Village'. Going as an alternate route of waiting tables Brett found himself 'Go-Go' dancing at 'Don Hills' famed friday night 'Squeeze Box' party. He stepped into his influential 'Rock

'N' Roll scene and was home! Music, fashion and wild costumes were all contributing factors to the birth of 'Mangl'd' which now spans globe after finding markets in Tokyo and London, alongside New York and Chicago.

Brett is currently just written his directional feature, a fantasy adventure to be shot on location in Japan. His numerous film credits include appearing alongside David Bowie in his hit fashion spoof 'Zoolander' and a lead roll alongside the late great Quentin Crisp, in the icons last movie 'American Mod'. Brett recently wrapped a co-staring roll with Rosario Dawson in the feature 'This Revolution', a remake of the polemically charged 1969 'Medium Cool'. 'This Revolution' is scheduled to feature in the 'Sundance Film Festival'.

Brett continues to break new boundaries in film, fashion and beyond. He is a regular performer at New York famed, Sunday night alternative performance space 'Surf Reality'. So buckle up, get 'Mangl'd' and enjoy the ride.
